John Longo, MSW is a licensed psychotherapist in MA and NH. John has provided clinical services in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings as well as in emergency department care. He has helped many clients achieve symptom relief by teaching them cognitive behavioral skills and strategies. These more effective thinking skills and behavioral strategies enable them to manage their depression, anxiety, and to change unwanted behaviors.

 

As a professional musician, John also has experience in working with artists experiencing difficulty with their creative expression. John completed his MSW at Boston University, and his BA in Psychology at Clark University. He has completed trainings at The Barre Center for Buddhist studies and sat silent retreats at The Insight Meditation Society.
